Between This Page and the Next
I have been reading quite a few books lately, which is something that I haven’t done in a while. This is partially because my girlfriend has hundreds of books, and partially because I have become addicted to the hunt of the thrift store bargain (which is probably another post in itself).
I have started a list to keep track of my books on Goodreads, which is quite a helpful tool. I can look up reviews of the books I find in the randomness of the thrift store, I can remember what I said I would read next, and I can keep track of how much I am reading.
However, I find that the problem is that I’m nowhere close to reducing my ‘to read’ list, because I’m constantly adding books. As I look at the fifty or so I have in the list now and think of all the thousands of pages left to read, I think to myself “Well, this is going to take a while.” Still, I think that I will have fun with it.
